FAQ
Q01Is this generator free? Do I need an account?+
Completely free, runs in your browser (no API calls, nothing stored). No signup — open and use.
Q02Does one prompt really work across all 6 tools?+
Yes. We compose a 'subject + shot type + camera move + lighting + motion + mood + aspect ratio + duration' natural-prose sentence — every tool from Veo to Hailuo parses it. The only difference is the recommended model variant (Veo 3.1 / Kling 2.0 / Seedance 2.0...) shown on the right when you pick a target tool.
Q03Can I still use Sora?+
No — OpenAI discontinued Sora on 2026-04-26 (app and web shut down; the API sunsets 2026-09-24). The prompts this generator builds are universal natural prose, so anything you wrote for Sora pastes straight into Veo / Kling / Runway. We recommend Veo 3.1 as the replacement.
Q04Why ≤ 200 chars recommended for video prompts?+
Video models are more sensitive to action interpretation than image models — too many descriptors and the action gets muddled. Empirically 200 chars is the stability sweet spot. Complex storyboards: split into multiple short clips and stitch in editing.
Q05How many motion descriptors should I pick?+
0–2. Short clips stay clean with one main action (e.g., 'walking'). More than that and movements collide. Exception: ambient elements like 'rain pouring' + 'leaves falling' coexist fine because they're background.
Q06Which aspect ratio should I pick?+
TikTok / Reels / Shorts → 9:16. YouTube / ads → 16:9. IG feed → 1:1 or 4:5. Cinematic → 21:9. Veo adapts composition to the ratio; Kling / Pika quality varies more — pick your platform first.
Q07Is 'duration' the actual rendered length?+
Hint, not control. Actual duration is set in the platform UI you paste into (Veo defaults to 8s, Kling 5s, etc.). We include duration in the prompt so the model knows the pacing you want — it tightens action density accordingly.
Q08Why comma-separated and not multi-shot format?+
Veo / Runway prefer natural prose, but the comma-separated shape we use parses correctly across all 6. Multi-shot prompts (shot 1: ..., shot 2: ...) are only really supported by Seedance today, so we ship the broadest-compatible format. For multi-shot, run separate prompts and edit together.
