FAQ
Q01Is this generator free? Do I need an account?+
Completely free, runs in your browser (no API calls, nothing stored). No signup — open and use.
Q02How does Ideogram differ from Midjourney / Flux / SD?+
**Ideogram is currently the only model that treats 'render text accurately in the image' as a core strength.** MJ / Flux / SD render text as gibberish or misspell letters. Ideogram uses a quoted-text directive (we auto-wrap the Text input in double quotes) and renders short text — taglines, brand names, poster headlines, wordmark logos — accurately. Other parts of the image are average; text is the differentiator.
Q03How long should the Text content be?+
Shorter is more accurate. Wordmark logo: 1–2 words. Tagline: 5–10 words. Poster headline + sub-headline: max two lines. Full sentences start to misspell. For longer text consider rendering image + text as two separate steps.
Q04Which Magic Prompt mode should I pick?+
Off = literal — exactly what you wrote, max control. Auto = mild adjustment, adds a few sensible adjectives (recommended default). On = heavy expansion (good for short inputs that want more detail). Logos / wordmarks → Off. Social cards / posters → Auto. Want surprise → On.
Q05What's the difference between Typography and Text Layout?+
Typography = the typeface look (bold sans-serif, handwritten script, neon tube lettering). Text Layout = where the text sits in the composition (centered, banner across top, vertical, wordmark logo). Together they decide 'how the text looks' + 'where it sits'.
Q06What's the Style Reference field for?+
Ideogram parses 'in the style of X' as natural prose. Try 'in the style of A24 minimalist film posters', 'in the style of 1950s railway travel posters', 'in the style of Saul Bass'. It gets appended to the prompt and the model picks it up.
Q07Why ≤ 250 chars recommended?+
Ideogram weights the front of the prompt most. Text content itself: shorter = more accurate (longer = more misspelled). Whole prompt within 250 chars almost always reads through. Short and precise beats long and verbose.
